TheKnot.com names Show On The Road
“Best Of Weddings” in the Upper Midwest
Show On The Road gets awarded “The Knot.com “Best Of Weddings” Pick” award. The Knot starts up an annual survey with all of their registered brides voting on how well the vendors at their wedding performed. Show On The Road scored in the first year of the survey & continued to score a place on the list the following years. Vendors cannot pay to get on this list & it is entirely based on votes from registered customers.

Year 2000 Mobile Beat DJ All Star Award
Show On The Road acquired this award by debuting their "Millennium Chicken Dance" at the All Star DJ Party held at the Mobile Beat Magazine DJ Expo in Las Vegas on February 22, 2000. There were 14 All Star DJ's from across the country that performed that night. |

| 1999 Propmaster Of The Year | 1st Place
Russ Harris won this award in January of 1999 at the 1999 American Disc Jockey Awards Show held during the Mobile Beat DJ Expo in Las Vegas, NV. This expo is sponsored by Mobile Beat magazine, a disc jockey industry magazine. Russ debuted the "Kung Fu Fighting" dance by giving the audience white gloves to put on & performed a black-light dance with them. The Propmaster Award requires the performer to use some type of prop in their game or routine. |

The 1999 DJ Of The Year | 3rd Place
This trophy was won in August of 1999 at the International DJ Expo held in Atlantic City, NJ. The expo was sponsored by DJ Times Magazine (Testa Communications), a disc jockey industry magazine. Show On The Road won 3rd place with their new "Kung Fu Fighting" dance by throwing out white gloves into the audience, turning on an all blacklight light show, while Russ & his crew came out on stage dressed up in Ninja outfits with fluorescent paint on their faces. They were up against 13 other groups including Darren Pepple & Dave Piecz also from Show On The Road who performed a dance to Will Smith's "Wild Wild West".

| The 1997 Entertainment Showcase Award | 1st Place
This trophy was won in August of 1997 at the International DJ Expo held in Atlantic City, NJ. The expo was sponsored by DJ Times Magazine (Testa Communications), a disc jockey industry magazine. Show On The Road won 1st Place by competing against 7 other groups. Each company had 20 minutes to perform a line dance, game or some sort of audience participation activity. Russ Harris & former co-owner Joe Medrano helped lead the entire room with their Twist Medley, Coco Jamboo glow necklace dance, & Battle Of The Sexes. The audience got to decide the winner & Show On The Road was voted the favorite that night.
